First Choice - 'Doctor Love'???
"Oh, no not another one you say!!!! Mother, make him stop!!!!"
I've been compiling the b-sides of the Top 100 for 1975 using Joel Whitburn's R&B book (which conveniently lists the b-sides of the singles that charted.)
Most 45s of this period (according to Joel) put the Disco Version, Disco Mix, Long Version, whatever they called, it on the b-side of the 45.
Only 1 record is listed as having the "short version" on the b-side of the 45.![]()
Name that record--in the top 50...just to narrow it down for ya.
First Choice - 'Doctor Love'???
Nope. "Doctor Love" was released in 1977--we're talkin' 1975 here.Originally Written by Dirk Diggler
A clue: There's some irony in a "short version" of this record. Is that cryptic enough?  :-?![]()
i thought first free man but thats not a short its a disco mix so without checking helplessly moment of truth ?
Nope DD--the clue is in the Long versus Short version.![]()

Love To Love You Baby is the only 45 on the top 100 disco list that, according to Joel Whitburn's R&B book, had the "short version" on the b-side of the single.![]()
