Well, I was always partial to Amii Stewart's "Knock on Wood" and "Light My Fire/137 Disco Heaven," both circa 1979 and apparently shot at the same time.
Gotta love the cheesy 70's special effects in these.
Just wondering what the best disco music video is. Just got Telex - Moskow Disco, which is a weird but interesting video. Is this a rare video?

Oh it's got to be Dee D Jackson's 'Automatic Lover' video. It's hilariously brilliant with that well-endowed robot! :o I also love the vid for Sylvester's 'You Make Me Feel' with all his costume changes & Sheila B's one for 'Spacer'.
Gotta ask...are any of these commercially available?
Not that I know of.
Yep, if you watch German TV-station ZDF where they regularly broadcast cultnights! Very nostalgic![]()

Gosh, I had forgotten all about the Dee D Jackson video. That one was hilariously brilliant.Originally Written by SandraDee
The Dee D Jackson video is available on a German DVD called "Still Alive: Disco Of The 80's" that was released a few years back on BMG, which is still available (try amazon.de ). Beware though, the DVD is PAL, RC-9. Another "winner" on this DVD is Kelly Marie's "Feels Like I'm In Love." Talk about low budget!!!

There was a 2 CD & 1 DVD set released in Australia called Disco Inferno by Universal Music Australia Pty Ltd, Set 9820710Originally Written by Eurodancemix
It has Sylvester/ You make me Feel (Mighty Real) plus 11 clips of other artists.

From the 70s: ones people mentioned plus LaBelle's "Lady Marmalade." From the 80's, maybe Sylvester's "Hard Up", Donna Summer's "This Time I Know It's For Real" or "Love's About To Change My Heart" or Trans X's "Living On Video" (I don't think the Buggles' "Video Killed The Radio Star", M's "Pop Muzik" or Five Star were quite disco.)
brought back a LOT of memories! I've seen a couple of these on the "We Love the 80s" show.
