This song from the "Machine Gun" is a real synthesizer/funk/disco masterpiece with lots of synth. And I was wondering how did they create the effect that sounds like marbles or steel balls bouncing at rapid speed in a small container underwater and the "WOOOM WOOOM WOOOM" sound with an arp synthesizer?
Australia mate! The land of many great funkateers!
Yes Funky, In fact that sound was made using a ARP-2600 synthesizer, the same synth was used by Kool & The Gang in "SUMMER MADNESS".
You can see the picture from a real ARP-2600 at "SENHORES DO GROOVE Website".![]()
