The sample I recognize, is definitely 'Rubberband' by the Trammps...

Hence the title of his previous hit 'Disco Inferno'???

I thought DonaldCleveland in his defense of RAP music introducing todays kidz to disco-- cited the use of "Rubberband Man" by THE SPINNERS, as the sample.

I'll have to go back and check.... now where was that???

I really, really don't understand the succes of The Game and people like 50 Cent. I would not, ever, ever, spend 50 cents on buying that stuff. The only piece I like in it is "Rubberband man", but hey, they are just to lazy to compose something themselves. :evil:

I checked the booklet on the net... an it said... Contains a sample from "rubberband' as performed by the Trammps...

Maybe they are wrong... But then again, I don't hear 'Rubberband Man' in the rap song...

"Rubber Band" is more on the mellow soulful side, similar to many vocal groups of the day, not bad.

I heard the song on Yahoo and it sounded just like The Game's "Hate It or Love It" It's definitely The Trammps. There's a link below where you can listen to a clip of that song.

Wow. I knew I liked something about that song for the longest time and I just knew it couldn't be The Game or 50 Cent or whoever produced it.

That's definitely the intro to The Trammps "Stretch me out like a rubber band..." in this songs intro. I picked up The Legendary Zing Album a couple of weeks ago for a dime at a garage sale. Unlike 50 cents album I would have had no problem paying five dimes for it.

And as for Disco Inferno being the title of a 50 Cent track (good investigative work their by the way): Holy coincidences Batman! I don't think so.
