Is it Jimmy Woo's of Amsterdam? Don't think so - consider what's there in Porto Cervo, Sardignia. This town was originally built by Aga Khan in 1968 on what is apparently the most breathtakingly beautiful strip of coastline on earth, as a Barbarella meets James Bond style fantasy resort with multicolored amoeba-like buildings, sidewalks in pink marble, a ritzy port jammed with yachts Eartha Kitt would climax over, small exclusive hotels, bars, clothes stores and of course nightclubs. One such a joint is Billionaire's. It costs 170 euros to get in and the drinks aren't cheap either. The decor is part Marrakech part Monte Carlo Casino as dreamed by Harold Robbins in 1970. The music is handbaggy house and yes, disco. They say Brad Pitt is a regular. There's no door policy but with those entrance fees they need not worry do they? Anybody know a more ludicrous/fascinating place to dance? Question 2: What was the most gorgeous looking disco back in the day?
