Judging from the album covers, he appears to be a petite man (like Prince) ranging from 5"5-5"7. Short or tall I still like him too!!!!!
*DELIGHTFUL*
This is funny, when i was looking up some songs from Cerrone a friend of mind remarked that Cerrone actually is NOT BIG. or else that he isn't that TALL!
If you look closely on the album covers of 'Cerrones Paradise', 'Supernature' or 'Love in C-minor' you can actually see that his is always pictured sitting down, or standing up while the other people are sitting down! Also check out the size of Cerrone by comparing him with the Fridge he is standing by on the Paradise album backside! Or by comparing him to the drums that he is sitting by on the cover of Supernature.
I mean, he's actually trying to hide his size! Is Cerrone really not that tall? and does he have a Prince-like obsession with this?
Peace,
808
(Oh by the way, i like his music very much! the best disco drummer ever!)

Well, he sure as heck isn't tall! I understand that he does have a giant ego, and as for other size issues.....the Goddess doesn't swing that way.

I guess by judging from the nice woman he always has on his album covers, he might be not big, but surely well hung!![]()
Hey, he's PAYING them to be on the cover!!!!
He could be hung like chipmunk and they'd STILL pretend to think he's a stud!!!!
What Cerrone surely LACKED was an art director who could compose an interesting and provacative cover shot. (And the good taste to realize how awful his covers were).
Talk about the KING OF TACKY!!!!!
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Yeah, Cerrone gets some sort of award for "Cheesiest cover art for a release on a major label". Supernature takes the cake on that one.
As for the squealing ladies on Love In C Minor... a friend of mine figured it out the first time she heard the song: "Oh, I get it... the chicks are doing each other, and ignoring him"
Cerrone is SHORT, by no stretch of the imagination. He was a guest at Judy Weinstein's "For The Record" record pool. I'm kind of tall (6'7") so a lot of people are shorter than me. But, when I have to look waaay down, yeah, he's short.
He did autograph my "Cerrone V" lp jacket and to tell that truth, on that day at the pool, the ego was in check.

Yeah, he's maybe 5' tall, I met him at a local record shop during one of his promo tours, he was also skinny and didn’t say much.
Ai, ai, ai caramba...
I promised myself not to send a post to this topic, but hey, how could I resist? All this chating about CERRONE's small sizes... (LOL)
I like to add a few comments about the guy:
CERRONE IS THE LOST DWARF ON THE SNOW WHITE FAIRY TALE!
CERRONE BELONGS TO SMALLVILLE!
LOOK, THERE'S A SPOT ON THE FLOOR! WAIT, THAT MOUSTACHE...
CERRONEY IS A WHITE SMURF! GET HIM, AZRAEL!

Hey Zeca,
LOL,LOL,IMFAOFOOOOOO xs 9000000000000000
I am a Cerrone fan (despite what he did to Alec, just like Cerrone's music), but that was funny as hell. Have you heard Cerrone's non disco work Zeca? The stuff from the 80's? With you being a Peter Gabriel fan as much as myself, i dont know why you wouldnt like Cerrone's "Panic". It's purly new wave rock and kinda sounds like something Gabriel would have done on the Peter Gabriel 3 LP in my oppinion.

I don't know the song you've mentioned. "PANIC" is the name, eh? I will take your word, if you say that the song is good, I believe you. I only know his 70's records. This song is available in any format for me to hear it?
You see what you did? You made me ask for a CERRONE song! The things we have to do for your friends... (LOL)
Peace to you, MR. DJ JIMMY!

Cerrone
is the kind of artist that
made people in the 80's regret tuning in to Disco.
He is an acomplist to the people who killed the 70's style.......
Will never really like him......
As for his short size
what can I say
He sould be proud of his height
but juding by the covers
he is trying to hide it
nothing makes it worst
Zeca,
"Panic" is off of Cerrone 5 which was his first LP of the 80's and is avalible on CD imported (for me anyway). I could get you to hear the track, just email me at sumeria78@yahoo.com and i'll direct you...if ya know what i mean....

Actually, "Panic" is off of Cerrone VI.
Cerrone VI is quite different from anything he did before or after it. Very strange, disjointed, and rather self-indulgent at times, but it ultimately redeems itself.
It's generally regarded as his worst album, so maybe all you Cerrone-haters will like it instead.
Personally, I think "Rendez-Vous" is the highlight of the LP.
