    3 songs I'like to know (80's soul)

    Hi Disco People! :D

It's me once again, and this time I'm back with some wonderful 80's soul, which I'd like to have named!

    1. www.soultourist.com/dontyouknow.mp3

    2. www.soultourist.com/morningafter.mp3

    3. www.soultourist.com/uknockmeout.mp3

The year could be 1987, all the songs are taken from the same mix...so if someone could id the mix as well, this would be great!!!

I have some infos that it could be a DMC mix from 87, but I couldn't find anything 'bout it on the web :o

    Help!

All 3 are HOT songs! I can't identify #3, but #1 is "Don't Blow a Good Thing by Vesta (Williams) and #2 is "The Morning After" by Curtis Hairston, Hopefully someone out there knows the last one, 'cause I definitely would like to know.

    People!

I don't know what kind of computers some of you are using, but when I play these song samples on my computer, the title appears at the bottom of the window. When I played song number 3, the title shown is "You Knock Me Out" and those words are also in the lyrics. Then, go to www.amazon.com and put the title of the song in the window, and do a search for all songs with that title.

Hmmmm...I don't know what type of computer YOU are using  I guess the title you see there is just the title I gave myself to those audio-samples...
I don't think your computer is able to recognize songs immediatly and name them correct...if so, you're a rich man!!! :D I wanna have one of those!!!!

towermusic is a good thing to search songs...although I couldn't find my song there (it's neither R. Kelly nor Tatyana Ali)
    Thx anyway

    Track 3 ID

It is Shokk - "Lock me out" from early 1987 (I used to play that song a lot on WAPS in Amsterdam)

:D :D :D Oh Yeah! That's it! Thanks Maarten! (BTW what is WAPS? radiostation/club?)

In between someone else told me it could be them, but I was looking for "Shock", so my research wasn't very succesful.

Thanks again to everyone else for helping me out with these songs! (some more will follow )

Glad I could help - I love solving puzzles :P

W.A.P.S. (Wave Amsterdam Power Sound) was an Amsterdam based radio station, initially a pirate station and from 1985 legal. I used to DJ there, and I knew the song the minute I heard the sample, checked an old tape and there it was!

    Good song actually!
