...I'm thinkin' Marky ...although I'm at a big disadvantaage since I don't know a good many of these songs "A" sides ----much less their "B" sides !!!!

Educated guessing has me narrowing it down to 1) same label artists ..2) same producer artists or 3) artists that are into the remake syndrome ....

    still thinkin' .............

I bet Mixmachine can answer this right off ..with that great 45 collection of his .....

DD has got it right!!! Quelle surprise. :D

Van McCoy composed and both groups were on Avco.....and both were produced by Hugo & Luigi at this time.

"Hey Girl, Come And Get It" was the b-side of "The Hustle"

Ironically, "Hey Girl, Come And Get It" was also the b-side of the Stylistics' single-- with "Star on The TV Show" listed as the A-side. "Star" charted on the R&B chart.

Poor "Hey Girl"...destined for the b-side of both...yet who remembers "Star on the TV Show"???? Hugo & Luigi's bad taste strikes again!!!! :P

I didn't realize poor Van McCoy had "performance " problems .... & you sure wouldn't think it'd be the subject of hit song writing ....

"Hey ,girl , come and get it ...... while I still got it" ----

Is this a first ? A song rendered obsolete thanks to modern medicine ......... and a little blue pill called Viagra :D !
