    Help please

Case in point is Peter Griffin. Two club hits between 1980-1981 and then nothing. The songs were "Step By Step" which was originally released on Electrola Records out ofGermany. So one might surmise that Peter is from Germany. The song gained popularity as an import and the fledgling Moby Dick Records picked it up for U.S. release, issuing a stunning remixed version.
The following year Electrola issued "Inside Out" another uptempo number with catchy hook-filled lyrics. No American company opted to license it, yet it still received good club exposure. Then Peter disappeared. I put this page here in the hopes that someone out there will write us with more information on Peter and his whereabouts.

    I have a German 12" , Letric Metric (Teldec 1983).
Sounds like a blend of Patrick Cowley and Paul Sabu...
At the time I ranked it as a 3/5 but today I would give it a 4.

Nothing more than the singles mentioned and that there should also be an album released 79/80 - Hurricane is coming. Re-issued on CD in the late 80's.

I think first single he released in 1979 Spiderman(music by Chris Byxton & Peter Vaylon, lyrics by Peter Griffin, arranged by P. Glass)/Just When I Need You Most( R.Vanwarmer) Electrola GmbH,Germany and last was in 1984 I Can't Say No/Oh Very Young (Teldec/WEA) and total I know 26 songs and one instrumental(Wake up): 8+1 from first album Hurrican Is Coming, 10 songs from second LP Step by Step and more 7 from singles. I think he from Germany and have 3 hit singles in German Charts in 1981 ( peak position # 28 for Step By Step) and he was in Musik Laden ZDF TV Programm in September 1981 - he performed I've Lost My Way.... maybe you can find more info about him in old german magazines like Bravo/Popcorn
