Wanting to know if anyone can post some info in this thread regarding releases of 'Billy Ocean - Love Really Hurts Without You REMIXES' like Supreme 1986 Remix, Idem Cupid Remix 12 Minutes, '87 Dance & Dub mixes; who they were done by... Dave Ford before PWL?, Pete Waterman/Phil Harding? Track details, full names, track time/length, chart positon, Labels they were released on, sleeve .jpg's etc.
I have a 4 track CD single only, it was released in 1988 I believe, with 2 versions, a radio & 12".
(The 12" version is definitely EUROBEAT circa late '80's style as per Stock, Aitken & Waterman, particularly: Mel&Kim.)
This is my pending Discogs.com database entry:

I believe, but cannot confirm that either of the versions of "Love Really Hurts Without You" that appear on this release are not Stock, Aitken & Waterman/Pete Hammond (re)mixes.
The second version; 12", definitely has the eurobeat programming/sequencing style & arrangement structure of the remix format so popular in the late 1980's. Billy Ocean's vocals & harmonies retaining the Motown element within the crunchy, brisk shuffling groove. When played out clubwise, the track needed at least a +2% pitch increase to counter the flatness of tuning and to 'give it back the energy of bounce'.
The appearance of any 12" version/remix of this song title on CD media was rare;
JIVE's Australian subsidary(: Festival / Liberation(?),) did not appear to release a CD single at the time.
