    I'm feeling Atlantic Star? What

I just listened to a best of Atlantic Star compilation on cd that I got at a record store for $1.99! :o :o :o

Tell me disco-fans.........is this one of the most underated groups of all......or am I just feeling "nostalgic" and remembering the good ole' days? :o Tunes like......Circles, Closer, Am I dreaming......Man! gooooood stuff!

    Do you agree or disagree?

    Let-a-bro-know?

Absolutely . "WHEN LOVE CALLS " is one of those tunes I never get tired of . :D
Super D , have you ever listened to a group called "Klique" ----godawful, butt ugly , album cover --but once past that ... some excellent Atlantic Starr flavour inside. (you can probably get it for LESS than two bucks!!) :D

Love those two dollars or less deals too.

(I just recently bought Stevie Wonder's 1987 "CHARACTERS" LP for ......33 cents!!! It's worth much more than that ...I'd hope. Still , it's a shame when you sense an artist is trying to make their sound more contemporary, becomes gimmicky ....sounding more like a follower , rather than a leader .... but Stevie still shines through it all on this LP.)

Klique had a moderately popular song called Love's Dance. I liked it.
As for Atlantic Starr, I preferred more of their late 70s to very early 80s stuff. One of my favorite ballads was done by them. It's called Losing You.

Klique did some good stuff. I still jam to "Try It Out" from 1983.
Their 1986 LP should be avoided at all costs though...same goes for lead singer Howard Huntsberry's solo set from '88

Klique released a great LP in 1981 which I had but sold (Stupid!!) a while ago. "Love's Dance" and "How could you know" were the stand-out tracks on it that I liked. The Try It Out album which I kept, was moderately better than their later stuff.

You're right about Howard Huntsberry's solo work K-Bee

I had my windows down driving around the "Isle"(city park) on a 80 degree day in the D "bump'in" the song "Circles"...of course the Hommies wasn't feeling me

Atlantic Starr's - When Loves Calls is definitely top shelf. I like mostly their ballads.

If Your Heart Isn't In It
Send For Me===========I played this song when it was time to slooooooooooow it down. :)

Don't forget the smooth ballad by Klique - Stop Doggin' Me Around was another great tune this group had.
