You could try Simple Minds' "Promised You A Miracle" (1982) . Or The Associates "Club County" (1982). They may be your thing: Not quite/almost sort of disco songs, but with funky beats.

If you have any recomendations on particular brand of disco I would really appreciate it. I'm looking for stuff which did not necessarily have a harmony, or lryics. One example would be PAPAS GOT A BRAND NEW PIG BAG bY PIG BAG. Another example would be a early SIMPLE MINDS song-I TRAVEL. I recall hearing many early 80's disco songs that had similar tunes and beats. But as I mentioned were not heavy on vocals. Which made finding them difficult. If you know these releases and know of other similar one's, let me know. I know there is someone out-there who knows what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Try Jingo - Candido, really good 'banging' Disco from the late 70's. You could try Dancer - Gino Soccio & Let The Music Play - Charles Earland, for more funky type sounds. Some vocals but not too many!![]()
