Are you having any trouble playing your DVD's on an American player - the website states PAL, and my player is NTSC.
Right now, the best and easiest way to order it here in America is to go the Malligator website. www.malligatormusic.com,
There you will find downloads and physical EVERYTHING that is Cerrone, inclusive of a REALLY nice limited boxed edition of Classic Vinyl.
The Cerrone Culture 2 DVD (with bonus CD) is 38 dollars and you may pay via paypal of you wish. A good deal. I wish that more artists could replicate packages of this depth. The fans are out here. I wish they knew how we would support them if they made this stuff available......
(if anybuddy posted this or a variant already please excuse me. i am sure cerrone will forgive me......)![]()

I didnt receive it YET, but I have one of those multi-region machines that also converts NTSC/PAL...so no problem for me.Originally Written by Boogie Child
Is the disc region zero? If so, on a newer TV/DVD combination the convertion would not be much of a problem. Some TV manufacturers have a built in auto NTSC/PAL feature.
I have watched my Level42 and Kool and the Gang Ultimate Collections (both region 0 PAL from the UK) on my regular (plain) NTSC machine....the only problem is the menus look "screwy", but once the programs play there are no problems.
The Cerrone box is 100 per cent gorgeous in every department, from the design of the packaging to the outfits of the chorus girls in the videos. If you don't have a multistandard dvd system yet this box is the reason to get it.
You'll have to excuse me as I'm no DVD expert, but could i play this on my DVD player in the UK? I'd really love to see this.
You can see all the details on:

or Amazon.fr
It's a real treat and the big surprise for me were the included live excerpts from the 1978 concert where Big C and his band prove that they could perform the concept albums on stage also and all of this in a very impressive show (opened by naked dancers).
And like Jussik mentioned: da girls in the vids are cool & hot at the same time.
If you watch this DVD you WILL get in a Disco mood! That's a guarantee!![]()
I'll second that. There hasn't been a release like this in the entire dvd era (or the vhs era for that matter).
If something defines the Disco Years for today's eyes, this is it. At least until the complete video anthologies of Casablanca, Prelude, Salsoul, T.K., and the likes, come out.

The UK uses PAL, so that won't be a problem... what may be an issue is the region code.Originally Written by SandraDee
All of Europe is region 2. Sandra baby you'll be fine.
Just to confirm what Jussi and others said... I ordered the DVD from Amazon.fr, and it plays absolutely fine in my fairly basic JVC DVD player I bought from Comet.Originally Written by SandraDee

Thanx jussi & darrens for the info. :)
Just got it today & I so agree that the packaging & overall quality are excellent & the contents are brilliant, even the live concert footage & i'm not really into live concerts! :P Some of the early promo films are intriguing with Cerrone coming over as a French disco version of Benny Hill in places  with all the topless girls & chasing around. Pity they had to use a model to mime to Jocelyn Brown on the film for 'You Are The One' but I'm not quibbling as it's so rare to get film promos of ANY 70s\80s disco hits like this. I didn't realise that he collaborated with Don Ray & his son Greg Cerrone on his latest 'Hysteria' stuff - glad to see his return to dance since '94(via house & filtered disco) after his brief flirtation with 'rock operas'/soft rock (Collector, Way In & Dream LPs).
Wish a similar DVD/CD package would be released featuring other disco artists such as Giorgio Moroder, Sheila B, Space Voyage, Village People, etc.
San, if you or others members want to follow the carreer of Cerrone Jr. (Greg) you can listen to:
www.undergroundfg.com/grille/index.htm , a free internet station where Greg does shows on a regular basis. He also has his own site www.gregcerrone.com![]()
