    Nicole McLoud

I am trying to find out how many singles/Albums were released by Miami based soul/dance diva Nicole... I have most of her singles on 12" from her 1980s period and her debut album entitled "What about me ?" - My favourite single is HOUSECALLS

A 2nd album "Jampacked" was released on CBS (I think) in 1988. The title track also came out on 12" but failed to make much impact.
As far as I recall, It was produced by Lou Pace. I'll check when I get home from work and get back to you

I believe those two LP's was all we ever saw from Nicole McCloud

I remember a 12" single called ROCK THE HOUSE which did quite well in the UK clubs but that was way back in 89/90 - I wonder if she is still recording ??

Full details of the 1988 Nicole McCloud LP

    Nicole McCloud - "Jam Packed" (Epic/CBS EPC 466043-1. 1988)

"Rock The House" is included as the first track on Side 2

Here's a cover of the "Jam Packed" 12" single

Also, in 1994 Nicole released "Running Away" on 12". This was also produced by Lou Pace and the single features mixes by E-Smoove. I haven't heard this one though ..just found out it exists.

Thanks for that !!! I think Nicole was friends with another Florida based singer called DONNA ALLEN and they performed background vocals for each other.... They are both really good dance/soul artists who we sadly do not hear of nowadays... :(

Donna Allen is still around and shows up on house tracks from time to time although I haven't seen her name lately.
"He Is The Joy" from 1999 is the latest one I could find.

I liked Donna Allen's 'Real' from '94 remixed by the wonderful David Morales. 8)

wow this lady is one of the most underrated singers around, she's been at it for some time too.. I got her "Rock The House" CD (1989, Oceana/Atlantic) at a bargain bin a while back.. wasn't bad.. There's also a track on there called Jam Packed (At The Wall), i guess it's the same one as on her earlier LP..

I have her most recent album - "So What?" (2002, 24-7/Artemis) borrowed from the public library - She's recording for Artemis now under her full name Nicole J. McCloud.. It's not a bad album..some mainstream dance tracks and R&B..

I agree totally - She is superb and sadly goes unnoticed...
I have now managed to obtain both her 80s albums on LP/Vinyl
and some 12" singles including.. NEW YORK EYES/WHAT ABOUT ME?/HOUSECALLS/LONG TRAIN RUNNING & JAM PACKED. I also bought a Dutch 12" release of ROCK THE HOUSE...
