    Here's a few clues.

The song is from the 80's, the group is European (German I think) and it's a morning song. (low bpm)

    What group protects the President?

What about the Supremes (the Supreme Court, to be exact)?

They stopped the vote count in Florida, thereby ensuring Bush the Presidency, right?

Daddy Bush & Brother Jeb Bush also helped as did that Katharine Bitch from Florida.

So, what does that have to do with your song?

    Obviously nothing. Just venting.

Okay, since no one got the answer, I will tell you who it is.

It is Secret Service "When The Night Closes In".

I'm sure this had to be played at either The Saint or The Troc.

I don't remember the song you're talking about but that phrase, "When the night closes in...", all I can think of is my girl Phyllis Hyman: "I wanna Kiss You All Over" --- OW!

    Sorry, took a little detour.

    nrgbeat,

I knew I had something in my collection by the group Secret Service. I just checked and it's called "Dancing In Madness", a Latin-tinged dance tune from 1982.

    Anyone remember this one?
