disco song - need artist name and title

The artist name sounds like "Sumandu" and the chorus is "But it's alright, we can (sounds like) still go on". It is mostly instrumental with very good beat and cowbell sounds.

    I think it's BRA by Cymande. (1973)

    from AMG:

and "Bra" (a recognition of the women's lib movement), the most inspiring. Both are sung with passion, and are skillfully executed; the former is slow and painstaking in its message, while "Bra" slaps you upside the head with a stirring sax solo and bass-fueled vamp.

It's definitely a male band. It starts with the words "Now that we ______, make any sacrifice".... something like that.

Oh ye of little faith...

I just gave ya the answer. :D "But it's alright...you can still go home...da-da dah dah dah daaaaah...."

    I have it on this:

"Club Classics, Vol. 2: Give Your Body" Up gathers ten more dance favorites from the late '70s and early '80s, including Cecil & Linda Womack's "Baby I'm Scared of You," Cymande's "Bra," Jocelyn Brown's "Somebody Else's Guy," and Roy Ayers Ubiquity's "Running Away." These tracks and songs like the Originals' "Down to Love Town" and Sylvester's "Over and Over" mix the warmth of classic soul and funk with disco's energy, giving them a unique sound that ensures Club Classics, Vol. 2: Give Your Body Up lives up to its title. Overall, it's a consistently entertaining compilation of club singles that sound fresher than the usual fare on collections of '70s and '80s dance music.

Bra also has the distinction (in my mind) of being one of the records that had its bassline ripped off by Giorgio Moroder for Donna Summer's Love To Love You Baby.
