Hello Disco freaks,

One question : I love the guitar and sound of this song, was there a 12" version of this song or just the Lp version ?

From the original release, no -- just the album version. Rogers and Edwards remixed the track in 1984 (quite badly, IMO) and Sure Is Pure remixed it in 1993, but neither of these have the charm of the original. They're both included as bonus tracks on the 1995 Atlantic/Rhino CD of "We Are Family".

There is also a DMC remix of it on the Sure is pure CD single. Its better than the Sure is pure mix and its mixed by Phil Kelsey.

There's also been a recent remix / cover of this by Wackside featuring Sister Sledge (its actually Joni Sledge not Kathy) Two great mixes on the electro house tip though.
