PC in Hollywood gone haywire:
1) A Black Kojak? How do they explain his Greek ancestry.

2) Walking Tall with the Rock? This one is even a bigger travesty since walking tall is based on the life of Buford Prusser.

3) Robin Hood with a Black Moor as one of the merry men? Do you know what they would have done to a Muslim in England during the 1200's?

Can you imagine the uproar from the assholes if thay had Done Shaft 2 with Sylvester Stallone?

I don't have a problem with Black actors; shoot, I've enjoyed all those Superfly, C. Brown, and Shaft movies, but don't you get a feeling that Hollywood is kind of over doing it a "little bit".
What next? "Rev" Louis Farrakunt will be playing an Imperial Wizard?

1- I like Kojak. I like Ving Rhames even more. The fact that he has a Greek last name is no more an issue than him having an anglo last name that many African-Americans have.

2- Hollywood poetic license. When they made a TV movie about Watergate, a key figure who was the security gaurd was played by a white man. In real life that man was African-American. He was the one who saw the criminal activity in the hotel.
Don't even get me started on the mythical character Jesus. He is always portrayed as a Northern European born on the Arabian peninsula?
3- Umm, I thought the Moors were dominant figures during that time period in Europe.

Speaking of Stallone, when was the last time a Black heavyweight lost?

During the life of Jesus? No, I believe it was from the 800 AD to the time Columbus set sail and then only on the Iberian peninsula, but a good point about how Jesus is portrayed as being white seeing as he was Jewish.

I was referring to the time period given by the "guest." The guest mentioned the period around 1200.
