I always find Walter Gibbons remix of Hit and run by Lolleata Holloway amazing.I think that this remix spotlights the advantages of Lolleata s voice and it gives to the original a new wiew.

Indie Release [Level 4]
One of my all-time favorite remixes, only because it's truly a r-e-m-i-x, is for "Still in Love" by TAXXI (1987, I think).
It was remixed by The Latin Rascals and they took what was essentially a 3-minute below-average pop song and transformed it into an 8-minute massive eardrum-bursting drum-crashing vocals-way-up-front stutter-edits orgy of sound!
Hearing it in a club setting...WOW!
Gold Record [Level 7]
A pretty good house remix of Booker Newberry's "Love Town" came out round 1993. One of the few house actually cabable of capturing the feel of the original.
Double Platinum Record [Level 9]
The 12" remixes of Brandi Wells' 'Watch Out' & Keni Burke's 'Youre the Best' were much better than the LP versions IMO.
