    looking for the title and the artist of a disco(ish) song

    The words are something like me a spacer.....a star shape/shade of sun. a spacer. theres no need to be all by your own.or words to that effect .it sounded like it could be sister sledge chic but its not them. Can you help? its driving me mad and i cant stop it going round my head.Thanks
