Hmmm....I'm only familiar with the version by Boystown Gang--never knew that Frankie re-recorded it. Are you sure?
Does anyone know if there's still a tape or a cd of Frankie Valli disco version " Can't take my eyes off you". It was very popular back in the late 70's early 80's
I have been searching for it for decades now....Your help will be appreciated. :D

Frankie indeed recorded that song. It was issued as a CD single in 1992 by the Collectables label. It is now out of print. A vinyl 45 is the only format that's still in print.
Good luck!
Not heard I'm afraid, but stumbled on a copy of "Soul" by Frankie. I just love it.
DJ Boogie badness :D :)
I'm pretty sure that "Collectables" CD was of Frankie's 1967 hit single of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"--not a disco re-recording. "Collectables" was a knockoff label for reisuues of "oldies" from the 50s, 60s and 70s.........Originally Written by Eurodancemix
check this old thread, maybe this is the version you're looking for...

Hello-
Thanks for the information.
I meant Frankie Valli's song, as him being the writer (if I am not mistanken). The disco version I am looking for is sang by a woman, so it is probably "Ross", but this was back in the early 80's...
I have heard of a Brazilian band called Rod Hanna that also recorded it as a disco version in the late 90's, but it is not the one I remember....
I guess I will keep on looking. Thanks again everyone for the tips, and if I find it I will let you know... :D
Duh. The early Eighties version with the female vocal is by Boystown Gang!!!!!!
Trust me it was a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE RECORD!!!!![]()
Boys Town Gang was a popular dance music combo from the '80s that scored a hit with "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." They released albums into the '90s, when they dissolved with the release of Disco Kicks, a greatest-hits album.
Well, excuse my ignorance.... Judging by the name of the band I did not think it could be the one I was looking for....Originally Written by Anonymous
but, whatever!
I already found it, not exactly thanks to you
Thank you on the other hand, for your nice response... :POriginally Written by Anonymous

What keeps those guys/girls from registering??? It's totally free, they just have to fill in a few things and they can choose a nickname! And if they don't feel at home here, they can always quit. Nobody will bother them afterwards, they won't recieve commercial messages or spam and they will not be checked by the CIA.:D

I thought chaps were always buttless, & frontless? :-? You can either wear jeans under them a la Gloria Estefan( :o ) or nothing showing your little prick, a la Marky! (sorry Marky, I couldn't resist, I'm no size queen honest!)
So is that a little prick? My eyesight is not exactly seeing what's there!!! But it is in the right place, eh?
