Hey MASDEFI,

the song is ECHOES, and it was released in 1971 on the album MEDDLE. In my humble opinion, ECHOES is the best piece of music PF ever recorded.

Great! But my sample 20A2 is a live version or not? Does this sample 20a2 is 100% in the "Meddle" album? :???:

Hi MASDEFI,

your sample is from the original version of the song (released on MEDDLE), not a live one. The part of the song that is in your sample is in the middle of the track - have I mentioned that ECHOES is more than 20 minutes long?

Thanks zeca azevedo. Just a last question: do you know if after the original release in 1971, this song was issued again as remastered version or on 12" probably in 1975 - 1979? The sample is very faster and seems to me with more effects of guitar or so. What do you think about?

Hi MASDEFI,

I think the guy who did the sample only accelerated the pitch of the song. As much as I can hear from your sample, it's the same ECHOES recording released in 1971.

There's a remastered edition of MEDDLE released a few years ago (I bought myself one).
