What the **** is theis "guest" ****? I'm discoman!!!!!!!!!!!
Another early porn classic "I Like To Watch". Made in '82. Good story, HOT SEX, great early '80s music soundtrack. I saw this years ago, still have the '82 VHS (very early days of video) recently picked up the DVD. Disco and classic porn go hand in hand. Anoher time capsule, watch it if you can.
My friends from "the other side of the fence"; do you remember the "Hand In Hand" gay porno of the '70s?
What the **** is theis "guest" ****? I'm discoman!!!!!!!!!!!
This film had a VERY interesting scene between Little Oral Annie and Anne Pierce, who played the family maid, IIRC.
A goodie from the twilight period of porn's Golden Age.

Little Oral Annie
Yes..."Little Oral Annie  She was quite the sword swallower! She liked a blast in the bum too.
I like how that scene develops "I saw you watching me and What's His Name..."
The final scene between Don Hart and Bridgette Monet is interesting - he's really hangin'. :o Looks like she just about wore ol' Don out!
There were 3 pornos from '82 that were exceptionally good: This one, "8 to 4" and "Society Affairs". In '83 porn started it's long midnight from which it will never recover.
Shouldn't this topic be in the Non- Disco forum :-?

I'm not known to promote any kind of filth but just this once do advice interested parties to have a peek at an American adult film performer called Long Jeannie Silver who appeared in several early 80's films. What makes her stand out is the fact that she was/is? an amputee - she only had one functioning hand. Well, actually she did know how to put her other hand, a stump, into imaginative use. So what were the films then? One is Alex deRenzy's Pleasure Masters. Check it out.
I did a search on her name and she did a film called Enema Bandit.Originally Written by JussiK
What sick minds don't come up with
Actually, Jussi, LJS had part of her leg amputated. I met her once at one of Jamie Gillis' parties (this would have been about 76/77) and she was a pretty nice girl, in truth. I think at that same party Marc Stevens was there with his TS girlfriend/wife Jill Munro.
LOL, "Enema Bandit" (a.k.a "Water Power") is a film based on a true story...you can use your own imaginations here. It starred Jamie Gillis, who along with Zebedy Colt ("Unwilling Lovers", "Sex Wish") and Bill Margold ("Weekend Fantasy") made up the Unholy Trinity of mainstream 70s porn. I find many of the films they appeared in to be misogynistic, if not downright disgusting...not my cup of tea at all.

Boodi, you made me curious, are you talking about the Frank Zappa song "The Illinois Enema Bandit" or do you mean, hey, you know, "The return of the Enema bandit", "abducted by the Enema Bandit". They are not as good as the Star Wars trilogy though.
Yes, the film is based on the crimes of Michael Kenyon (not the author of the same name), the real life Ilinois Bandit.

What names from '70s porn - Jamie Gillis, Zebedy Colt and "Ol' Rubber Dick" Bill Margold. You're right about their movies. Many of them were dark and had an edge to them.
Boodikka, please tell us about your evening at Plato's.
I never realized there were so many porno aficianados on this board.
I've learned so much this week...stump humping, enemas....
Makes most horror films look tame by comparison. :D
You're right of course - I got her mixed up with someone else from that now all too distant period! You've actually met people like that...the mind boggles. What must the conversation been like, did it touch the actors's daily routines - " well, another 3 hour stump job this afternoon, must buy some more rinse cream" ? There WAS some woman with a hand stump in some of those things. though, I'm positive.Originally Written by Boodikka
"Waterpower" is a downer all right and totally unerotic and ugly in a fascinating way, but quite restrained in fact, considering the extreme subject matter - to think what kind of visual delirium someone truly unhinged like Tinto Brass could have accomplished with the camera angles and so on - "Waterpower" only really has that one bathtub there in full use. But what am I talking about here - better not even think about stuff like that!
I think it had more to do with the free spirited open-mindedness of the time than anything else. People are sooooooI never realized there were so many porno aficianados on this board.
uptight these days.
I wonder what the porn producers will come up with next.
I'm stumped![]()

OMG, I thought you were kidding. I searched the web for info and discovered that the guy really did this to women! Reality goes beyond imagination, I suppose. "Porno" by the Limbomaniacs deals with the same story. BTW, just wanna say that today's Porn doesn't mean a thing to me. The '70's stuff was much and much better, funnier and inventive.Originally Written by Boodikka
Today's porn is just another example of manufacturing for the mass marketer. Young guys today like their women to have fake tits and shaved cootchies. :o I don't get it, but I've had my day so it doesn't matter...
My visit to Plato's wasn't too different from what Jussi experienced: a lot of nude people who shouldn't have been nude (think of your typical swinger's convention) and a LOT of people gawking. Actually, the music was rather good, and a lot of people were dancing. Ed Jones was there, just kind of checking out the scene.
Jeannie Silver spent a lot of her time trying to get with my friend Randy (Jamie Gillis' nephew) and drinking. There wasn't a lot of "shop talk", and I also got the feeling that they didn't watch their own or other actor's porn films much. Remember, this was the NYC porn period, and the same people worked together over and over. BTW, I remember that Helen Madigan was there, and she was as......unfortunate-looking in person as she was on film.
Jussi, I can only imagine "Water Power" in the hands of a Tinto Brass or a Lasse Braun. :o BTW, though I am sure that NOBODY here will try and buy it, at least one online site hawks a completely uncut version of "Water Power". What a joy that would be to own.
Now, to those that would question why a film like this would even be made: let's examine the history of 70s porn. The first hardcore feature "Mona" was released in 1970. The mainstream hardcore porn format doesn't exactly allow for a great deal of variation. So once they exhausted the formulas used in softcore, they had to appeal to a jaded audience. The gimmicks began: "Deep Throat", P____ Talk", "French Shampoo" etc. They also began to create sub-genres, one of which became the porn/suspense/horror/gore sub-genre. Some of these films actually had plots and passable acting: "Unwilling Lovers", "The Defiance (Of Good)", "The Story Of Joanna" and "A Woman's Torment", for example. Some were appalling misogynistic "comedies', like "Weekend Fantasy" and "Hot Skin". Some were just disgusting: "Sex Wish", "Water Power", "Femmes De Sade", "Rape Victims" and the appalling "Wet Wilderness" come to mind. The makers of these films were always tring to push the envelope, they just pushed way too far. The same thing is happening now with the Japanese shock/horror genre: they've gone way over the top (but that's another discussion entirely).
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]"I can see Prussia from my house!". :icon_mrgreen:
I was just reading about "Wet Wilderness" and "Barbarian Girls" on another site.
Pretty nasty stuff. I'll save my money.
I happen to be in possession of this - not too proud but it's a mondo cane we're living in. As visitors to our apartment tend to inspect the bookshelves and dvd/video collections as they do, I have placed it to a very visible spot, right between to Antonioni's "La Notte" and the Edwige Fenech classic "Strip Nude For Your Killer". On a few occasions some bespectacled intellectual in a severe black outfit has enquired about the title and I've stopped conversations describing the premise of the film. A good way to sort real cineastes from les diletantes or what. When noted genre journalist Maitland McDonagh from New York came over she gave her approval of this design detail, so I know I did the right thing.Originally Written by Boodikka
Fascinating to read about those porn personalities..how are your memoirs coming along, Boodikka, soon in print? We NEED to read them, you know.
Jussi, maybe I'll start a "Six Degrees Of Separation From Porn" thread...when I think about the amount of porn stars I've met, or that people that I know have "dated", etc...It's a fairly large number. Living on the Upper East Side in the early 80s, you'd run into them all the time. Of course, hanging out with Jamie Gillis' nephews in high school didn't hurt......

Hello all,
Has anyone seen the excellent Café Flesh? I was lucky enough to see an uncut version in a London cinema some years aback.
