    Makin It/Stumblin In

Anyone know if there is a disco compilation featuring these 2 songs:

    Making It - David Naughton

Stumblin In - Suzi Quatro & Chris Norman

    Thanks In Advance.

Not on CD, but RSO Records did issue a "Best Of" RSO Records compilation back in 1979, if I remember well.

It had those two songs as well as "Heaven On The 7th Floor".

Makin' it is on Disco Nights Volume 8 CD, released by Rebound Records in 1995.

Unfortunately it's the radio edit (3:08)

I like all 3 of those songs. Did the Paul Nicholas song ever have an extended version? I doubt it; I think it was just considered a pop song. David Naughton had the 12 inch and the B side "Still Makin' It" but did he ever do an album? Wasn't he great in "Can't Stop The Music"? Is he still a Pepper? ha ha. Why'd he have to do that creepy "An American Werewolf in London"? Will 'Makin' It" the TV series ever be on DVD? OK, there weren't many episodes, but they could combine them with the Starland Vocal Band Hour, Pink Lady, the Keane Brothers and the Captain and Tennille's variety shows, ha ha.

Was that Him?  If I ever knew this back then I forgot all about it , I liked "American Werewolf... " it was funny and creepy at the same time, as far as the series, I don't think I ever caught an episode, "Making it" was always considered a fun pop number popular with many clubbers that requested it, lots of people liked the uplifting lyrics...

    You're thinking of Steve Guttenberg.

There are probably no plans for releasing "Makin' It" on DVD. Of the six episodes made, they only aired four.

Well, here's something interesting....you can find the radio versions of BOTH "Makin' It" and "Heaven on the 7th Floor" on the compilation CD "Super Hits of the '70s: Have a Nice Day, Vol. 24"

    Just an FYI

Oh, I'd forgotten about Steve Guttenberg. Thanks all for the info on those nifty pop disco songs.
