    $5000 for a teena marie c.d !!!!!

blimey some idiot paid $5000 + for a teena marie c.d ill admit the bid history does look a bit suspect, compare this to motown vinyl rarities, the rarest is something else but the second rarest motown vinyl the andantes 'like a nightmare' is one seriously rare record and would only sell for double this, what kind of fool would make a bid like this :o

    Rare record

I know it wasa Northern Soul collectable but people were paying shed loads of money for Frank Wilson's 'Do I love you'. Wether this is true but apparently is was pressed up and ready to go at Motown then thay suddenly changed their mindsand pulled the release, not after one (!?) was sneakerly creamed off.
A copy of the above record sold for £15,000!! that's $27000 on toadys rate, in 1998. (The original copy it is alleged).

The winner has a feedback of 0 (zero), so there's a chance he's a newbie. It's either a joke, or he forgot where the decimal point went.

Looks like he bidded against a person trying it on! I reckon he's seriously overpaid - he too has no 'history' on ebay - can a CD really be worth so much?

wow... I used to play that song in the clubs... but, I never took on the LP. There must have been a 1 pressing of the CD in the 80's and then out it went. I never see that one.
