The first Gloria Gaynor LP was released in early 1975--it's in the Tom Moulton columns. This was the first time that her cover of "Reach Out- I'll Be There" was heard. The 3 song medley charts first on Jan. 11, 1975--but this was available to DJs only until the February 1 chart when it has hit the retail charts also. This third song on the side one medley was the new material. "Honey Bee" had been released previously and "Never Can Say Goodbye" had been a hit for several months at that point. Somewhere into the run of this song, I do think that it was released as a 45--so maybe in March or thereabouts. (After a little trip for research.... Actually shootyourshot's Billboard Pop chart from March 22, 1975 shows "Reach Out" debuting.)
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
