Avatar Test Run

Been tweaking and assessing the forums for the last few weeks and have decided to do a test run of certain features.

Many have asked for avatars so we'll give it a test run and see how it goes. If all goes well then it will stay as a permanent feature. Simply go to your profile:

and look through the gallery for one that you like. Click the radio button under the avatar you like and then click submit. You will now be taken back to your profile page, which shows your new selection and then click submit again or else your changes will not be saved. That's it! ---- While you are at it, please add your location (city, country or at least country) ---

Feel free to change it as often as you like. You can NOT upload your own due to security reasons so please don't ask.

Please understand this is only an ongoing test which means if the bandwidth goes through the roof... it may have to be scaled back or withdrawn.

This is a cool addition...is there any way like on other forums where you can make your own? I was gonna put a pic of myself on it :lol:

If the avatars feature is kept maybe what you could do is like put an avatar gallery featuring LP covers or pics of our fav disco artists.

Maybe if things work out right people could send a link to fav pic's
so uploading won't be neccessary ?
And that would save bandwith :-) :lol:
Dont know if the forum supports this though... just a thought.
