This was done by Saint Tropez before Donna Summer.

Creekadiscopedia did a fab version of Sophia Loren's (!) "The Boy On A Dolphin" - a vintage film theme becomes an authentically silly eurodisco experience with a shivering voice trying slightly too hard and a tinny yet dramatic string arrangement.

There's a pretty solid version of
IN-A-GADDA-DA-VIDA by Julia Keen & Pin Up Stick

Apparently a French only (?) release on Philips.

Hot R.S. did a version of this and it is better than the one by Disco Circus. http://www.discomusic.com/records-more/4666_0_2_0_C/

Would I pull such a shapely leg like yours, Sandra, sticking out as it must be from a sheer avocado-colored bri-nylon negligeé? Crekadiscopedia was out in 1977, THE year for cheesy eurodisco. The label is Barclay.
That Julia Keen & Pins was realesed in nordic countries too.
The Girl From Ipanema, fab tune, that one got covered first (?) by Gilla on her great Help! Help! album in 1976, Hansa label, always a good sign that. Then ASTRUD GILBERTO herself did a disco version in 1978, a lush Vincent Montana jr. production, no less! The lp is called "That Girl From Ipanema" and it's got additional dance tracks too like the jazzy midtempo "All I've Got". Love it to death.

Jussi (that is you isn't it? :-? ) how did you know that bri-nylon is my favourite material (after rubber!); you wouldn't believe how hard it is finding bri-nylon clothes these days. Just love those man-made textures! (I'm quite partial to avocado too )

P'zzazz - I Heard It Through The Grapevine
Shalamar - Uptown Festival (contains snippets of 60's covers)
Dante's Inferno - Ain't Misbehavin" (original is earlier than 60's but I'll put it in anyway)

Am sure I'll think of others but can't. Many have already been mentioned.
