    Help with impossible-to-understand disco song!

I keep hearing this great unknown disco song but, since the lyrics are virtually IMPOSSIBLE to understand, I can only describe it like this:

Its definately a 70's disco song
    It was very popular
It featured a group of people singing in unison
    Their singing "sounded" like this:
    Daa da deeeeedeedaaaaaa dada
    Daa da deeeeedeeedeeeedeeda
    Daa da deeeeedeeedaaaa deeda deedAAAAAAAAAAAA

Anyone? I know the description sucks, but its about the best I can do. Thanks in advance!!!

I know the song, but I cannot remember the title/artist for the life of me.

It's not an obscure song, and I'm guessing that it is DeeDee Bridgewater (or someone similar).

It sounds like Parlet's 'Pleasure Principle' on Casablanca records. They sing 'da da, da diddle de da da' quite a few times.

I think Sandra Dee is right with Parlet.

Could it be Tony Rallo - Holdin' On? A long shot, but you never know.
