which disco diva has released the most recent 12" of original material?
or
list the most recent 12" of original material by your favorite disco diva
i may be mistaken, but i think loleatta holloway may have released an original 12" of new material as recently as 2000
gloria gaynor as recently as 1998
donna summer as recently as 1995
claudja barry as recently as 1994
somebody please correct me because there may be other more recent import only/dj only 12" releases that may be more recent than the ones i listed above
please list the title/label/producer if available
thanks.
does anyone else in here try to keep up with the newer more recent 12" releases?
God damn it, my post just didnt go through! So gotta type again
Anyhow as I was saying (lol), for a short time by no choice I ended up getting new club releases cause I was a registered DJ in Arizona a few years back. I sold most of em though as first off, I dont what so ever care for most of todays stuff and second, they were of no use to me at my job cause I was the weekend "retro disco" guy so to speak. The only classic artist one I ever got was a Cerrone 2 12'' sampler of recent remixes and a few original versions reedited by Bob Sinclar. Other than that 1, no classic artists ever passed my way unfortunatly
Fly By Night, Sleep In The Daytime
 So Cerrone's a diva now??
What's next.....ALICE R. Costandinos??
LOLLLLLL thats not what I ment...he asked the question if anyone kept up on new 12'' single releases..and there was my answer  BTW man, go to the general forum and check out the thread I posted over there..I think you'll apreciate it
Fly By Night, Sleep In The Daytime
a fews back on popular records France Joli released a track called Tender touch it was around 97 i would say.
I don’t know if there are 12” commercial versions around but Gloria Gaynor did “I Never Knew” in 2002 and I have heard a Hex Hextor mix from that time so I assume there will be vinyl somewhere. As for Donna, I have a commercial 12” of “I Will Go With You” from 1999 but there may be promo 12” pressings of “I Will Live For Love” from last year. There is even radio play over here of a 2005 remix of “I Feel Love” which may be on vinyl somewhere.

I own a CD Single of Gloria Gaynor's I Never Knew" so there must be vinyl of it somewhere.Originally Written by totoman
Martha Wash recently had a top 20 billboard dance trak, the name escapes me right now, but there should be vinyl on that one also.

i have been away for a few days and have been unable to read the new replies or look for the records listed above
does anyone have any records on the jellybean label?
i was browsing through some of their 12" releases last year and i remember seeing 1997, 1998, and 1999 releases from thelma houston, jody watley and taylor dayne etc...
unfortunately i did not have enough time to listen to all of them so i do not know if they were newer releases or updated releases of older material
