    CCR's "I Heard It Through The Grapevine"

    I see a 12" version of this recording in Bernie's vault. Was this just a re-release of the original recording..or did they add something?

    I can't imagine John Fogerty adding a disco beat to this...and since the timing is 11:05-1107...I'm guessing it's the same.

    But anyone know the truth? I've seen this referred to as a "Loft" or "Gallery" record in books...but I assumed it was from the original recording. I didn't know a promo 12" was released in 1975.

    I don't have the album so I've never done a direct A/B comparison, but it seems the 12 inch is the same version just pumped up in the bass department.
