I think I have your answer through referencing exact titles online.
"Are you ready for this" is by the Brothers. It's about 3 1/2 minutes long and available on Disco Express Vol 2. This is a RCA compilation that includes tracks by the Choice 4, Tymes, and Faith, Hope, and Charity, ect.
It looks fairly rare and I have never heard it.

The Brothers came to mind for me also, but unless the version off the '75 "Disco Soul by the Brother" LP contains vocals, my 7" copy (4:16) of "Are you ready for this" is strictly instrumental...
