"Spring Rain" by Silvetti . . . that was good. Nice intrumental with background vocals.

My brother had that album. Other songs included "Summer Rain", "Autumn Rain", and "Winter Rain." Serious.

    Top Ten?

Choosing a top ten disco songlist is like going to Harry Winston's on a free shopping spree and being told "take your ten favorite..." tough, this:

    1) Hit 'n Run Lover - Carol Jiani
    2) Dr. Love - First Choice
    3) Thriller - Michael Jackson (I know what you're all thinking)
    4) Dance (a little bit closer) - Charo
    5) I Feel Love - Donna Summer
    6) Girl, You Need A Change of Mind - Paul Lewis (no relation)
    7) Love Hangover - Diana Ross
    8) Babe, We're Gonna Love Tonight - Lime
    9) Risky Changes - (forgot who did it... y'all know)
    10) The entire contents of "The Ethel Merman Disco Album"

    - Paul (a.k.a. Judydoggie)
    - Yours, musically

JudyDoggie (neither a girl nor a dog: if you were in disco in NYC 15-25 yrs ago u know)

Really love your top 10 judy (with the possible exception of Lime ) It's interesting that you picked the Ethel Merman LP as the general concensus amongst the 'experts' on this site was that it stinks when it was discussed a few months ago. I've never actually heard it but I'd so like to love it because i love Ethel's voice (I'm so queeny aren't I?) & I also like disco versions of old songs (I think I'm alone here for liking Sheila B's 'Singing In The Rain' & Savoy's 'Sunny Side Of The Street' :-? ) so I just might order it after all.

    I WAS ONLY KIDDING

    My dearest Sandra:

It was because of that very thread that I decided to do that, mischievous little whelp that I am -- just to get a rise outta people who take themselves too seriously.

    Love 'n music,

    Paul - a.k.a. Judydoggie
    - Yours, musically

You are a little minx Paul/judy & no mistake. I actually had a similar thought, to do a top 10 of records that continually get slagged off on this site like Sarah Brightman, Sheila B, Rosebud, Patrick Hernandez, Liquid Gold etc.etc...;u get the picture...& see what reaction I'd get but u beat me to it! BTW, I really can't think what u mean about people here taking themselves too seriously.(ahem) :-?
