    "Who's next in line?" ? more...

    I thought for sure someone in this group would know this song just from the "Who's next in line?" ... lyric. I'd still like to ID this record ... here's what else I remember ....the female singer goes on to say "so move it on up .... move it on up ..... make it sweet " Very jazzy tune , circa 1975-76. -----??? ring any bells ??? ------- ty!

    It's called "Make it Sweet" by Coke Escovedo on Mercury from 1975. Love that track..

    Got it and listening to it right now! Thanks again. Imagine finally hearing a song that's kind of floated around in the back of your mind again for the first time in -----30 years!! :o -------- I believe Coke Escovido is Sheila E.'s father, but I wonder who this female vocalist on this tune was? - r -

    You're right about Sheila E remicks :D oh, and the vocalist on 'make it sweet' is none other than Linda Tillery who also recorded the beautiful 'freedom time'.
