Soundbyte quizz #9 Yeah seventies baby !

A new soundbyte quizz, we're going 1975 here.

5 soundclips, name the track and artist and gain the
envy of your peers in knowing it all :-)

    Here's the challenge

Special honors go to the one that gets the bonus question :
three of these tracks appear on the same label... which one ?

Difficult to get the last track 'cos real time palyer is (a) jerky and (b) reloading after a few seconds playing, but

    1) DISCO TEX & HIS SEXOLETTES - I WANNA DANCE WITH YOU?
    2) JEAN KNIGHT - Mr. BIG STUFF
    3) JIM GILSTRAP - SWING YOUR DADDY
    4) LULU - TAKE YOUR MAMA FOR A RIDE
    5) TEMPTATIONS - SMILING FACES SOMETIMES ??

    THE LABEL IS CHELSEA RECORDS

    Quinny,

Almost a full house, the last track is way off but the rest is
pretty much complete, the disco tex track is the other hit
get dancing but sound similar (as all DT records do) :-)

I am guessing here but did you count the last 20 seconds or so as the
    last track ?
Should be VERY easy that last one......

Let's give the others a try for the last track.........
Of course you were right on track with Chelsea, they had a nice handful of hits
    in their glorydays.

    Keep the fire burnin', Peter

    Levmark,

You are right about the first one, but the last one should not be so
difficult especially for the "been there" dj's amongst us :-)
This was a big hit for the artist back then, one of many.......

    Keep on dancin', Peter
