    I dont remember the name of a female singer who had great success in the mid 80 s .Ralph....with a disco-high energy song "In The evening".Have you got any informations about her?

    That is Sheryl lee Ralph you're talking about. She did an album in 1984 named "In The Evening" too.

    I think she got into acting later on.

    Ralph was an actress first. She was in the original Dreamgirls cast on broadway and has been acting ever since.

    FYI- This track became a Top 40 hit here in Australia some 10+ years later as a remix. Not as good as original.

    Sheryl Lee Ralph is supposed to be getting married soon to a politician from Pennsylvania.

    I don't know if it will be a daytime wedding or held in the evening.

    "In the evening" was very popular down here in Miami clubs, I played it for years, one of those songs that for some reason people just never got tired of; Check out the "Mighty Queen", Sherryl is very hot in this flick, the only one of hers I've ever seen, :cry: and you can also catch here Miss Mimi Rogers :D
