I presume the "Sugar Sugar" song that you want identified is the one featured in your sound clip. I don't know who did that version.

The original was by "The Archies".

Ron Dante, the who was with the Archies and sang the original, released a disco version of it in 1975 produced by Barry Manilow but the sample is not it. There also was a version in 1982 by David Gamson (from Scritti Politti fame) on Rough Trade records and remixed/released by Hot Tracks but I don't know if that is his version. (don't recall how it sounded)

Just played Ganson's versions and is not it, by the way this version was also released extended (7:00 Atlantic DMD 331, '81) by 'Learner's Permit', I can't remember who did the clip's version, let's see if I can find it around here...

Hi Guys ,

Maybe i'm wrong but i have a feeling that this version
might be released later,about 1987-89
I did a search from Google and i found one "sugar sugar"
song by artist named "DR Vinceb(n)t & the Tequila Brass"
(Skizzo SK101).I have no idea what song this is ...
