OMG efunk!! Way too many to list
I even like some of the stuff Rufus did WITHOUT chaka.
This "Tonite We Love" 1981 track from the "Party 'til Your Broke" LP.
At last .... one of my favorite music acts of all time... Rufus had their own distinct sound and with Chaka on vocals took this interacial band to the top! Now guys.... I will be featuring Miss Khan as a solo artist so let's keep it to them as a group![]()
Favorite Songs:
TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD
AT MIDNIGHT (MY LOVE WILL LIFT YOU UP)
YOU GOT THE LOVE
TONIGHT WE LOVE
what are your favorites! :D

It also made my list in high rotation for a few weeks at the club I dj'ed back in the day! ... hehe
My favorites are:
ONCE YOU GET STARTED
YOU GOT THE LOVE
SWEET THING
DANCE WIT ME
and the best for last:
DO YOU LOVE WHAT YOU FEEL
I wish the extended version of DYLWYF was more available on CD because I haven't found it anywhere.
"Everyone knows the real reason why you got that part it was the time you spent on that casting couch"--Antoine Merriwether
"Excuse me, Miss Thing, but both of us spent time on that couch"--Blaine Edwards
My 3 favs are "Whoever's thrilling you (is killing me)" a midtempo groove from 1973, "Sharing the love" which I have on a various artists compilation, and "Stay".
I think Sharing the love was from their last Lp together but I'm not sure.
Did the extended mix of "Do you love what you feel" include additional music not heard on the album version like Rick James "Superfreak" or was it just elongated?
It would be nice if they did put the 12 inch Rufus and Chaka mixes on Cd over that 1989 mismatch of a remix project WB marketed.
I completely forgot one of my favorites STAY :oops:Originally Written by eddie
I believe DYLWYF is elognated...
Masterjam is ...... Masterjam.
I think it is the best album.
I think that ASK RUFUS from '77 had the most thought out package.
