    a disco european/international meeting ??

    hi all,

i m new in this forum, i have so much disco music under my skin that i decided to involve myself into it. i read about your messages, your passion, your knowledges. Tell me if the members sometimes meet themselves in parties, a city, except on this virtual space (which is usefull of course).

i d like all disco lovers meet in one place, earring, dancing, sharing, exchanging on the music thay love above all. maybe this event already exists ? Are u all djs or doing collection ? If this event doesnt exist, lets create it ?

    thanx all, good night

    A.M.

I'm ready and wouldn't Paris just fit the bill perfectly or what - imagine a night at the AZ or Alcazar next door. A location little less flashy could do as well, somewhere in Oberkampf? Just name the time and the place and bring on those Cerrone, Dimitri, Sinclair and Costandinos tracks...

    hi all

i m happy to hear you really love that sound as much as me, i knew there was lots of people all around the world still loving it.

i m in Paris, France and created an "Underground Disco" party named "Discolounge". The first party happened not so far of Palace in the 10th district in april 2004, in a very big & beautiful bar Le Delaville Café, a place where i still have my monthly residency (the next will be on friday 28th january 2005).

I do visual graphics, website, public relations everything around it etc.. i want people to know about the REAL disco sound, cos i love it since i was in my mum's belly, i want to re-create the fantastic atmosfear there was in NYC downtown and in every place this music exploded.

i believe this music is still alive and kicking. Everywhere i go DJing, people are happy to hear that sound, they re surprised, cos i m a female dj, and i do it in my personal & special way. In spite there s no big crowd today, i believe in my project based upon a quality selection and true stomping sensations.

So let s celebrate a disco gathering ! 2005 will offer us a place, a time to love disco more and more.

my website is in French, i didnt finish it, but "little scotty" can read about it. i ll do an english version soon.

jussik, are u one the author of the book "saturday night forever"?

see you all, all your ideas are welcome.

You might want to search the forum for our discussions about the two "Remember The Party" (aka "Trocadero Transfer reunion") parties that were held this past year in San Francisco, California. More are being planned for 2005!

    Happy New Year, everyone!

Discolady, nice to have a new collegue on the board!

Paris is an excellent place to have a meeting. Next spring I will be on the Foire Du Thrône with 2 attractions so I'm gonna spend lots of time in the City of lights.

If you have ideas for a meeting with fellowmembers, just put them on the forum and we'll check them out!

Entretemps, un grand bisou et Bonne Année! A bientôt!
