Clue #1: this LP has one remake of a Big Band "Standard"...although that was not the record that was charted on the disco charts.

OK....another clue.

The key name here is Vernon Burch. He wrote the "hit song" from this LP that is, by the way, on the last Billboard Disco Compilation Consensus chart I typed.

It IS The New Ventures LP on United Artists from 1975.

Vernon Burch wrote or cowrote about 5 of the tunes.

I just find it fun to see all these name performer's credits when they were still doing session work.
