It almost sound like Brenton Wood's Oogum Boogum hit from the 1960's. I apologize but I cannot view the soundclip with my computer. This song was used in a number of movies and employs his high falsetto.
Please help me with this one! I've heard this song in two movies, neither of which list anything that could possibly be it in the credits. First in Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) which is where my clip comes from, and it's also in a bar/club scene in the Showtime movie Common Ground.
I can't make out any of the vocal except when it gets to what seems like a chorus and I hear "I do, I do, I do the boogaloo" :-? Or maybe it's something else. I've spent hours searching for every possible 'boogaloo' song (and there are tons!) and haven't gotten anywhere.
The thing is.. it sounds like a stupid, annoying song but I need to find out what it is, get a copy and listen to it in order to regain my sanity. Thanks in advance!

(Apologies for all the noise and dialogue in this scene. I'll attempt to find it in 'Common Ground' if this one isn't good enough.)

Oh, I know that song from Almost Famous. It's nothing like that. This is a very fast disco song. But thanks for the reply! :D
This sounds very much like a similar request we had many months back... nobody could place the song; the best guess anyone had was that it was canned/stock music created for film/TV productions.
try this one ROD - shake it up (do the boogaloo..) !!!

Graham, yes that makes sense. And probably explains why it doesn't have to be credited.
