I'll admit I don't know the song in question although it does sound kinda Salsoul label to my deaf ears.
What I found really interesting was listening to the hyper sped up, very scratched version of Rodney Franklin's The Groove (would he have had an ultra scratched version of that record BITD? {just casting my usual aspersions} and would he have had the technology to do the filtering?). Why he sped it up that much I'll never know, especialy as Roy Ayers' Running Away is only 3 BPM faster and I'm Every Woman only 2 BPM faster (and that sounds rather over sped up too).
Obviously on a speed trip that night.
Oh well, James Brown plays Sex Machine at about 125 BPM live instead of 107 BPM on the record.
