    Earth,Wind & Fire Essentials +remix CD

I'm curious about the remixes in this Sony UK cd, any reviews of this set?

All I know is the MAW mix of "Can't Hide Love" which is pretty good although not many know the original version, since it's from ewf's latest album.
Restless soul have been making some good stuff too and the Shelter mix of "Fantasy" might be done by Blaze (which is good). They use the the word "Shelter" for many of their remix titles.
Alltogether, it looks like they've opted for the soulfull house remix style on this album....it can't be all bad then.

I just heard today on the radio Kenny G and EWF doing "I like the way you move" (Outkast)without the rap portion :P it sounds good :D

No one else ever heard this EWF remix cd? Not even Bernie? :o As you can see it is rather pricey so I want to make sure before taking the plunge...

Mix, I know some of the remixes and only #32 is worth listening to IMHO. But if you adore the classic version you'll have your doubts too.

I'm just not into RMX's I think. I have a cd with the best from Kool & The Gang and it also has rmx's on it and they....

I've heard many remixes to Earth, Wind, and Fire's classic tunes. They are all garbage. Buy the classic albums on Warner Bros. and Columbia from 1970-1983 when they were at their peak and used the Phoenix Horns. These remixes are sped up and have added generic beats that deminish that soulful feel and funk drive.
