I'll bet it is "Cutie Pie" 5:59 12" by Dayton, catchy lite-Funk number from 1981 on the 'Liberty' label (Capital), popular during the musical transition of early 80's club music..
Thanks everyone for the help on Cutie Pie. I'm sure it wasn't the one by Lime, but other than that, I only know it was in the 1978-80 timeframe. Guess I have some research to do...
