"Cutie Pie" is by Lime as well. Or at least, I have a recording of a song called "Cutie Pie" by Lime from the same basic era as "Unexpected Lovers."

I would think his "Cutie Pie" would be the one by One Way (formerly Al Hudson & the Partners). No? :o

I'll bet it is "Cutie Pie" 5:59 12" by Dayton, catchy lite-Funk number from 1981 on the 'Liberty' label (Capital), popular during the musical transition of early 80's club music..

Thanks everyone for the help on Cutie Pie. I'm sure it wasn't the one by Lime, but other than that, I only know it was in the 1978-80 timeframe. Guess I have some research to do...

I was able hear a sample of Cutie Pie by One Way (Al Hudson) and it's the one I remember. It's from 1982...my dates were a bit off (not unusual)...that whole era sometimes is a big wonderful blur. Best thing is it looks like it's pretty easy to get a copy. Thanks for the help.
