Miss Ellen went beaver swapping

Heard this week that Ellen and her girlfriend Alexandra broke up and Ellen is now seeing Portia De Rossi. This was a surprise to me as I never knew Mr. Portia enjoyed tipping the velvet.

What caused the breakup? Did Alex decide to go straight like Ellen's ex Ms. Anne Gay For A Minute Heche????

Portia was openly tipping da velvet with the daughter of Barbara Bach (Mrs. Ringo Starr) in the final year of "Ally McBeal"...or so the tabloids said. :lol:

I think it was pretty well known in Europe, at least, that Portia was a lesbian; for some reason I'm thinking that's where her former gal pal might be from. But "gal pal" may be an understatement: I think they may even have been married in one of the world's more enlightened countries--but don't quote me on this. (The married part, that is; feel free to quote me about other counties being more enlightened. )

Good thing Portia is employed on a hip show like Fox's Arrested Development (laugh-out-loud funny, if you ask me). Imagine if she'd been working on Disney-owned ABC. :roll:

Ellen has ALWAYS been a player! I know that the skinny on her break-up with Anne "ET Phone Home" Heche was that Sheryl Crowe came between them, but Ellen has always been a "Martina Lite".

Yeah, so much for the Lesbians are the stable, relationship-oriented half of the gay population myth. Tell that to Miss Ellen and Miss Melissa, etc....who seem to trade-in their beloved life-partners for new models every few years. :roll:

BTW, Ellen's "used model" was the daughter of actor David Hedison, who was a Fox contract player and starred with Vincent Price in the original version of "The Fly." and the TV series of "Five Fingers" back in the Fifties.

Anne was munching Sheryl's Crowe, and people blamed Crowe for the breakup. However, Ellen has always done her thing on the side, and I suppose she'll continue to do so.
