I was digging through the crates and found Two of China's - Los Ninos Del Pwasarque from 1986. I wondering what was the first techno track to every be released? Many people will say either Kraftwerk and Gorgio Moroder which is true. They were the spark for this genre but who where the first ones to actually have the techno/trance sound. This track definitely sounds like an early trance track coming from Europe.

I think "Shari Vari" by A A Number of Names is considered the first Techno track. (Really great one BTW)
I suppose Kraftwerk and Klaus Schulze are more Electro than techno, but differences are really slight.

And don't forget Belgian bands "Telex" and certainly "Front 242" who were pioneers in bodymusic! Listen to "Funkhadaffi" and you will know where bands like Chemical Brothers got their ideas from.
And do you remember Hot Butter and the hit "Popcorn", that's early techno to me (IMHO).
