the complete motown singles vol 1,every single, a&b sides from all motown labels its a 6 c.d set 1959-61 vith vol 2 following a few months later and so on till 72 when motown were set up in l.a
start saving now or better still tell the wife you lost the christmas pay check and youll just have to live on love this year [she will buy it trust me] then in the new year hit the amazon button and wait by the door

Hey Discodisk, I wholeheartedly agree with you that the Hip-o Select label is GREAT! They have released some pretty terrific stuff that I thought would never make it to CD. However, I thought I read somewhere on their website the label is part of the Universal Music Group??? :o

One would think their "interns" (cough-spammers) would promote the real deal like the Motown set and the previous Moroder remasters instead of another Bee Gees CD.

KEEFELK you could be right id like to find a c.d but ive just moved and they are still boxed, well at least theres one part of universal that works. here in the u.k over the last few years we have had some real treats from universal especially in the motown department but its only through the dedicated work of outsiders that approach and lease that it hapens at all,they dont think of this stuff on their own
