Help.... Funk/disco song

I want to find a song on the internet, but only know two parts of the song. I appreciate any help I can get with a title or artist. The parts I remember are:

If you're girl starts acting up, then you take her friend.

there is another part in the song about eating dinner at a friends house and the food is horrible, says something like:

The peas are soggy, potatoes are mush, and the chicken tastes like wood.

I know it's not much, but hopefully someone recognizes it.
