    Super Sweet on CD?

I've been trying to find Wardell Piper's Super Sweet (midsong 1979) on CD but no luck. Does anyone know if this has ever been released on a compilation CD, or where it may available for download? thanks.

I found Super Sweet and Captain Boogie on WinMX once.. awesome tracks too btw! 8)

I know Super Sweet and Captain Boogie were also on one compilation CD called "Midsong - 12x12 Original Disco 12" Mixes" (PRH-11012) on the small Prophecy label.. I remember seeing it on ebay and it was also listed on the label's website, but last time I checked the website was closed so I think the label folded..

I'm not even sure if they used the original master tapes on that compilation either, I don't have it so I don't know for sure.. But you might still be able to find that CD online somewhere.. Here's the Amazon.com link:

I've been looking for this CD for a few years and have never seen it even mentioned on the internet 'til now. I just assumed it never came out. I have one of the 12" reissues from the compilation and it does mention the CD on its sticker.

The CD is titled MIDSONG 12X12 ORIGINAL 12" DISCO MIXES
on the Prophecy label PRH 11012 from 1998.

The strange thing about this CD is that it also includes two non-Midsong tracks: I will survive by Gloria Gaynor in a new re-recorded version (not a remix but a re-sung version) and a medley (that's the way/Get down tonight) by KC & Sunshine Band.

But the most intriguing thing of this CD is that when I opened it, it had the same smell of a vinyl album of the 70S...... DELICIOUSSSSSSS!!!!

Thanks for the great tips. Having a specific title to look for will help a lot. I really enjoyed Super Sweet; I don't recall it being that popular in the Philadelphia gay clubs I frequented in 1979 (DCA, Cell Block, Equus, 247), but it got a lot of air play on "Disco 98" WCAU-FM.
    Regards,
