Cerrone Music Video Collection DVD!

Hey all, just thought id drop this info here that an offical Cerrone music video collection DVD (yes, with all real original music videos, not TV performances and 90s made videos) has been released! I will def be buying this sometime soon. Its avalible only through the maligator website from what I can tell so far. Im also guessing its in all region code cause its price is listed in US dollars. So for any Cerrone fans out there or disco collectors in general..this looks like the very first true music video product for disco!

Also available on Amazon France, looks like it's Region 2, so bad luck Jimmy :-?

I think I might just have to add it to my Xmas list though :lol:

I checked out this DVD on Cerrone's site. It's recorded in PAL format which is the Euro DVD format. North American region 1 players require NTSC format so we're screwed for now.

BTW I bought Cerrone's "Hysteria" CD and YOWZAH!!!!!!!!!

Guys, many DVD players today can play multi-format DVDs. You may want to check to see if yours does and you aren't aware of it. I had a cheapo Apex machine that did and Amazon now has $40.00 DVD players that can as well (non-region-specific).

Doesn't France use SECAM instead of PAL?

But anyway, as mentioned before, many DVD players can do real-time format conversion. My old ghetto RCA unit that I got at Wal-Mart flawlessly played a Pet Shop Boys DVD single in (non-region coded but PAL format), despite the instructions which claimed it could not do anything other than NTSC.

Discoman, were not screwed with the PAL format My 45 buck DVD player I got at Wallmart last Christmas plays PAL and converts it automaticly. I own a Golden Earring import video collection DVD from Holland in PAL format and also a friend of mine was here from the UK and played a PAL DVD in my player. Only prob is the region coding..which mine specificly says its no region or region 1 :cry:

Bernie, i'll have to check the link you posted about the all region players for 40 bucks and def pick one up just so I can get this DVD...and ill also be able to get some Hulk DVD's too from UK I been always wanting that aint avalible in the US :lol:

I'm gonna havta check all this out - if there's a way I can buy and watch this DVD set I will! I've been a Cerrone fan since "Love In C Minor" ('76?). :D

Remember..."Love In C Minor" was really Alec R. Costandinos If you happen to find any info where there is an all region edition of this DVD please let me know! If not...I will prob break down and buy an all region player eventualy

XP...the major migrain headache to Windows :lol: I been dealing with this XP bullshit for prob bout 2 years now almost..and it sucks! If ya can hook up to K-Bee somehow he can help ya as well as I helped him out earlier tonight
